Marco has worked with his writing partner Michael Murray to create three musicals. They have created them in partnership with Summit Church. These musicals have been put on at the church, as well as the Fringe Festival in Orlando, FL. In 2014 “The Prodigal Musical” won the award of Best New Artist at the Fringe Festival, and in 2015 “The Road To Zamboria” won the award of Patron’s Choice. Marco writes and composes the music, and Michael writes the script and lyrics.

The Prodigal Musical is an upbeat western-themed musical based on the story of The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). The show tells the story of Dewey, a young man who decides life would be better without his father. While Dewey sets off for a life of adventure, his older brother Jake stays home and grows angry and cold. Through it all, we see that the father’s love, grace, and forgiveness for both his sons never wavers.

This modern-day redemption story is filled with twists and turns, colorful characters, singing pigs, and fun songs that the whole family will enjoy!
